Currently, the standard has entered the DIS voting stage and will be revised based on feedback before entering the approval stage.     The WG25 "Mold proof Sealing Adhesive Specification" working group is a newly established working group in 2024, with the task of developing a standard for grading and requirements of mold proof sealing adhesive. The standard is currently in the draft stage of the WD working group, where experts discussed the classification principles and required items. The subsequent preparation team will continue to advance the writing work and vote on the WD draft as soon as possible. The preparatory work team for the coating ability of sealant introduced the preliminary research work and standard draft. When the color difference value is the same, the lighter the color, the more obvious the difference is. Especially when △E is between 1.5 and 3, the color difference value at this time fully meets the national standard, but the human eye can feel the difference of some lighter colors. 02 The influence of substrate type ① Various color substrates, such as variegated stone, different people have different perceptions of color difference; ② Reflective substrate: The viewing angle has a great influence on the color. The larger the viewing angle, the lighter the color, and the smaller the viewing angle, the darker the color; ③ Fluorescent substrate or flash substrate: It is necessary to add special color powder to transparent glue to imitate the substrate effect. If ordinary sealant is used, it can only be adjusted to a close color, and the observed color will also be different. 03 Impact of environmental factors ① Impact of climate aging: The glossiness of the sealant surface will change. Whether it is glossy sealant or matte sealant, it will become darker than when it was first applied over time; UV-resistant pigments will also fade slightly; the same sealant applied at different time periods will have color differences between new and old sealant; ② Impact of dust: Sealant will absorb dust, which will cover up the color of the sealant surface to a certain extent. Will color difference affect the beauty of the building? How to control color difference? Some manufacturers' sealant products on the market claim to be stone sealants, but in fact they do not comply with the national standard GB/T 23261 "Stone Construction Sealant". At present, there are still a considerable number of sealants filled with mineral oil on the market. Due to the large difference in the chemical composition of the organic silicon polymer of mineral oil and silicone sealant, it is possible to migrate out of the colloid in a short time after the sealant is used, and penetrate into the interior of the porous material, forming penetration pollution. This type of sealant product cannot be used to seal the joints of porous plates such as stone. 2. Penetration pollution of coated aluminum plates and aluminum-plastic plates     The penetration pollution of decorative materials such as aluminum plates and aluminum-plastic plates with coated surfaces is mainly due to the poor aging resistance of the surface coating. The coating becomes loose and powdery after aging, so the plasticizer in the sealant penetrates into the aged coating and forms a penetration diffusion on the coating surface. This kind of penetration pollution will be more obvious on light-colored aluminum plates, aluminum-plastic plates or other light-colored decorative materials than on the corresponding dark-colored materials, so more attention should be paid when using them.     The general method for this kind of penetration pollution is to repaint and refurbish the panel. 01 Packaging and storage of sealants Since sealants are chemical products, the curing mechanism is to react and solidify when encountering moisture. The outer packaging carton should be removed, the surface should be wiped dry and placed indoors for use as soon as possible. 02 Correct method of sealant application Before application, please pay attention to the following: The ambient temperature requirements for the use of Baiyun brand silicone sealant products are: a clean environment with a temperature of 4℃～40℃ and a relative humidity of 40%～80%. In environments other than the above temperature and humidity requirements, it is not recommended for users to apply sealant. The outdoor temperature is high in summer, especially for aluminum curtain walls, where the temperature is even higher. If the ambient temperature and humidity are not within the recommended range, it is recommended to conduct a small area of ​​sealant application test on site and conduct a peeling adhesion test to confirm that the adhesion is good and there are no adverse phenomena before using it on a large area. During construction, please follow the steps below: 01 Construction sequence of structural sealant (structural sealant for curtain wall, two-layer structural sealant for hollow, etc.): 1. Clean the substrate The temperature is high in summer, and the cleaning solvent is easy to volatilize. Attention should be paid to the impact on the cleaning effect. 2. Apply primer (if necessary) The temperature and humidity are high in summer, and the primer is easy to hydrolyze and lose its activity in the air. Attention should be paid to injecting sealant as soon as possible after applying the primer. At the same time, it should be noted that when taking the primer, the number and time of contact between the primer and the air should be reduced as much as possible. It is best to use a small turnover bottle for packaging. 3. Sealant injection After the sealant is injected, the weather-resistant sealant cannot be applied immediately on the outside, otherwise, the curing speed of the structural sealant will be seriously reduced. 4. Trimming After the sealant injection is completed, trimming should be carried out immediately, which is conducive to the contact between the sealant and the side of the interface. 5. Recording and marking After the above process is completed, record and mark in time. 6. Maintenance Units must be maintained for a sufficient period of time under static and stress-free conditions to ensure that the structural sealant has sufficient adhesion. 02 Construction sequence of weather-resistant sealants and door and window sealants: 1. Preparation of glue joints The foam rods in contact with the sealant should remain intact. The temperature is high in summer, and if the foam rods are damaged, it is easy to cause blistering; at the same time, attention should be paid to the compatibility of the substrate and the sealant. 2. Clean the substrate The glue joints should be cleaned in place to remove dust, oil, etc. 3. Apply primer (if necessary) First, make sure that the surface of the sealant joint substrate is completely dry. In summer, the temperature and humidity are high, and the primer is easy to hydrolyze and lose its activity in the air. It should be noted that the sealant should be injected as soon as possible after the primer is applied. At the same time, it should be noted that when taking the primer, the number and time of contact with the air of the primer should be reduced as much as possible. It is best to use a small turnover bottle for packaging. 4. sealant injection There are more thunderstorms in summer. Note that after the rain, the sealant joints must be completely dry before injecting sealant . 5. Repair The temperature is higher in summer, so the repair time is shorter than in other seasons. Repair should be done immediately after the injection is completed. 6. Maintenance In the early stage of maintenance, large displacement is not recommended.
