On August 8, 2022, the inaugural meeting of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association Building Curtain Wall Doors and Windows Professional Committee and the first working meeting of the first committee were held in Beijing. Zhang Guanqi, Technical Director of Guangzhou Baiyun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., was successfully elected as Deputy Secretary-General and became the only elected person in the sealant industry!

Founding background:

    China Engineering Construction Standardization Association Building Curtain Wall Doors and Windows Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Professional Committee") relies on China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. and is an integral part of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association. With the needs of building energy conservation and emission reduction and urbanization development and the further advancement of the dual carbon strategy, my country's building curtain wall doors and windows also show a systematic, industrialized, high energy saving and intelligent development trend.            With the rapid development of technology, the construction of the matching standard system is still lagging behind. The establishment of this professional committee aims to integrate the technical advantages of the industry, improve the level of standard preparation, coordinate the development of the industry from a macro perspective, plan the future of the industry, and at the same time provide important technical support for my country's building curtain wall doors and windows industry to participate in international competition.

    As a leading enterprise in the domestic sealant industry, Baiyun Chemical has been committed to the promotion of industry standardization. So far, Baiyun Chemical has participated in the drafting and revision of more than 220 international, national and industrial standards, including 80 national standards, covering all fields of the sealant industry, and is the vanguard of industry standardization.
