SS622E Silicone Structural Sealant

Introduction

SS622E is a two-component, neutral curing, silicone structural sealant designed for many kinds of curtain wall, such as glass, stone (marble, granite), aluminum panel, and glass roofing as well as metal structure.

SS622E complies with Industry standards, JG / T 475 and European structural sealant standard, ETAG002 with excellent structural bonding performance and weather resistance. After artificially-accelerated weathering test, the physical and chemical properties of the sealant are very stable.

As for SS622E, A pump machine should be used to mix the base and catalyst properly according to the prescribed ratio and it will cure to form elastomer.

Features:

• SS622E is two-component, comply with standards: JG / T 475 & ETAG 002;
• Dealcoholizing, Neutral curing, No corrosion to metal, coated glass, concrete and marble,
• Excellent weather resistance, with a service life of 50 years under normal weather conditions
• Stability over a wide range of temperature. It will not be brittle, hardened or cracked at -50 ℃ after cured, and will not be softened and degraded at 150 ℃, and remain good strength and elasticity.
• Excellent adhesion to a wide range of building materials;
• Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.

Applications

• Structural bonding and weatherproofing sealing of glass, stone (marble, granite), aluminum panel curtain wall, glass roof and metal structure;
• Insulating glass secondary sealing;
• Other construction uses.

Limitations

• When the surface temperature of the material is lower than 10 ℃ or higher than 40 ℃, it is not suitable for construction;
• Not suitable for frosty or wet surfaces;
• It should not be used in places with continuous water immersion or humid places all year round.
• Avoid contact with rubber materials (such as rubber strips, rubber blocks, etc.) to avoid yellowing;
• Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances (such as exterior wall cleaning fluid) to avoid discoloration;
• Not suitable for all materials that will exudate grease, plasticizers or solvents, such as the surface of oil-soaked wood.
