In the 1980s and 1990s, China's sealant market was monopolized by European and American brands, and alkoxy sealant technology was strictly blocked. The industry could only rely on highly irritating and corrosive acid sealants, falling into a difficult position.

Baiyun Technology's R&D team took on the mission of developing China's own alkoxy sealants, overcoming core barriers such as independent catalyst synthesis and formulation optimization. In 1992, they took the lead in industrializing alkoxy sealant technology and successfully developed China's first industrialized SS601 silicone sealant, completely breaking foreign technological monopolies and filling the domestic industry gap.

In the 21st century, China's urbanization accelerated, and multiple sectors such as new energy and industrial manufacturing developed rapidly, imposing higher and more comprehensive requirements on sealant scenario adaptability. Based on its alkoxy sealant technology, Baiyun Technology took the lead in achieving full-scenario coverage in both the construction and industrial sectors.

On the construction side, it built a product matrix covering curtain wall systems, insulating glass, window and door systems, prefabricated construction, and interior decoration. On the industrial side, it completed the application of core alkoxy sealant technology in energy, transportation, 5G communications & electronics, and other fields, achieving comprehensive adaptation to sealing needs across thousands of industries.
