Introduction of Turpan Testing Center
Xinjiang turpan natural environment test and research center is located in the middle of xinjiang uygur autonomous region, 15 kilometers away from turpan city, 42°56 'n latitude and 89°12' e longitude. The test center was built in 2005, covering an area of 133 hectares, which is the largest dry and hot environment exposure test base in China. Currently, there are 260 sets of test equipment, which can undertake more than 1,000 samples.
Turpan region is a typical continental warm temperate desert climate, with abundant sunshine, abundant heat and extremely dry rainfall. The annual average sunshine hours are 2912 hours, the annual average angular solar radiation of 0℃ is 5513MJ/㎡, the annual average temperature is 17.4℃, the hot days above 35℃ are more than 100 days, the maximum temperature in May to August is more than 40℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 49.6℃, the surface temperature is more than 70℃, the annual effective accumulated temperature is more than 5300℃, frost free period is about 210 days.
Due to the hot and dry climate, the annual average rainfall is 16.4mm, and the evaporation is up to 3000mm.It is the most ideal test place for all kinds of coatings, materials, automobile and parts.
