24 June, Our company was invited to participate in the ceremony of 175-year annual meeting of Royal Institution of Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). We are the only material supplier being invited to the meeting. Ms Li Fenming, in charge of foreign trade business, has been entrusted by our company's president Li Hechang, as a company representative to attend this event.
Royal Institution of Chartered Institute of Building founded in 1834, is a professional organizations mainly composed by people who major in construction management. There are more than 41,000 members currently from over 100 countries, of which senior members and official members to be named as the " Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors ". CIOB has high international reputation and the professionals who engaged in the construction management both in and abroad all want to be the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Construction. Besides, CIOB also started to award the concession to the construction company .
It is also the 20 th year for CIOB since it was unfolded in China. In the ceremony of 175-year annual meeting, professor Li shirong from Chongqing Institute of Architecture College of Management, was nominated as the president for the Association. Therefore, she became the fist non-British nationality president and also the first female one since it was established. The elected of Li will further enhance China's influence and image in the international construction market, and can bring more and more opportunities for Sino-British construction industry's development.
